a little bit 'bout us:

A small group of Hanoi youth, with plenty of ideas and big dreams. We came together, sharing the love for our country, our city, and the will to spread that love and give help.

Hanoi, Our capital of Vietnam is rich in history and culture. Every street corner has its own special scent. Every ancient pagoda tells its own story. Every simple food or drink has its meaning and history. As true Hanoians, we treasure all the aspects of our city, old and new.

More and more visitors come to visit Hanoi each day. In such short period of time, it is hard enough just to find your way around, not to mention truly understanding and appreciating the beauties and joys. We want to help make your experience in Vietnam as convenient and wonderful as possible, as you say bonjour to Vietnam and hello to hanoi.

Hello Hanoi is a non government, not for profit organization. Established on 10 /10/ 2006 at Hanoi, we have a steady board of directors and a network of young volunteers. Our mission is to help make tourist’s time in Hanoi as convenient and wonderful as possible.

Our services and help are 100% free and include: online advice, tour guiding as requested, cooking class, and a brand new service of homestay! Not only will tourists get a chance to visit the city, but will learn about its traditions from native people and interact with the young, energetic generation of Vietnam. Every 2 weeks we organize a small party where all visitors and members of Hello Hanoi can come, have fun, learn about Vietnam and get acquainted.

So, whether you’re planning a visit to Hanoi, or you are a Hanoian wanting to volunteer, don’t hesitate to sign in and join us!
